About the event

When will the course begin?

Course date will be set upon achieving a minimum of 5 member spots.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. Refunds are available untill the start of the course.

Who can join the course?

Anyone who wishes, can join. All the necessary information regarding anatomy, physiology and biomechanics will be tought to you during the course. That being said, having previous knowledge of the subjects, or hands on experience working on a human body, is going to be advantageous.

What qualifications will I receive?

The course will run a total of about 100 hours, which will cound towards your CPD point accruement (two years worth). At the end there will be an exam. Upon passing, you will receive original 1st and 2nd Grade diplomas, denominating your ability to apply certain Yumeiho techniques in a safe and confident fashion.

Please note that this is an intensive training course, and you will go over many subjects in rapid succession. In order to complete your studies it's importand that you provide your undivided attention.

What's the course structure like?

The course will be spread over 3 weeks, with classes running from Monday to Friday. The day will be split in two, 09:00 to 13:00 will be the first half, followed by a lunch break, and then continued from 14:00 to 17:00.

First week will mainly focus on theory, anatomical knowledge and diagnostics. Second and third will be mostly practical, with the last few days reserved for the exam.

What kind of exam?

The exam is carried out at the end of the course, and consists of three parts.

  1. Written examination - Here you will be presented with a form containing several questions regarding the theoretical subjects. An open question format allows for short, consice answers. This part lasts no more than 30 minutes.
  2. Oral examination - Here you will be questioned in a 1 on 1 fashion with the tutor. This allowes for more in-depth examination and longer answers. Lasts no more than 40 minutes.
  3. Practical examination - The final part of the exam will require you to perform all the manual techniques that you've learned during the course. Questions may be asked and mistakes will not be corrected until the end of the exam. Lasts about 90 minutes.

Upon passing, you will be eligible to receive your diplomas, at which point you will have to purchase them for a 300$ (dollars) fee in order to become a licensed practitioner.

Can I fail the exam?

Yes, you absolutely can. As Yumeiho is a worldwide therapy, it's important for us to maintain international standards. Therefore we provide high quality training, and those participants who attend all training sessions usually pass with flying colors. Should you fail the exam, you may apply for another exam in the following year, without the need to pass the course again. However such a scenario is unlikely, as the tutors strive to be as thorough and informative as possible; failing an exam is rare.

I'm going to apply for a student loan, can you provide me with a signed confirmation letter?

Certainly! Contact us with your details and we will send you a signed physical letter via post. Should arrive within 2 weeks.
